Mutuel Play Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of its flagship product, ‘Bingo Millions’. The first variant of which being the 90-Ball game. The game will initially be launching with Buzz Bingo in the UK with ambitions to launch the game with other licensed operators digitally across the UK. We are also in discussion with Buzz Bingo about launching the game into retail in their 120 Bingo clubs across the UK in 2020.
The draws take place twice weekly on a Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10pm. Tickets are priced at £0.50, or a strip of six tickets for £2.50 and players can win a wide range of prizes from a free strip to £1.5m for hitting a full house within 30 calls. The Jackpot is fully backed by the RISQ i-Gaming Bet-On Insurance facility, additionally Mutuel Play can create other variants and boost the jackpot up to £25m, which we’ll be doing when we run Mega draws throughout the year.
The game uses a fixed odds prize table so is different to traditional Pari-Mutuel bingo. Players can win multiple prizes and multiple players can win so it offers a new dynamic to traditional bingo where players are battling one another to reach the prize pattern first. As the prizes are spread among more players the game boosts retention and the lottery-style purchasing pattern can be used to support subscription/Direct Debit acquisition/retention offers.
Rhys Owen, CEO and Founder of Mutuel Play had this to say; “We’ve been working behind the scenes on developing this game for some time and are very pleased to be launching it with our partner Buzz Bingo. They’ve been great supporting our business and will be running some unique campaigns off the back of the game to give them an edge in Bingo, it’s great to launch innovative games with an entrepreneurial and like-minded business. We have a number of ‘Bingo Millions’ branded titles launching this year to cater for different types of players and we’re hoping to replicate the success of ‘Big Time Gaming’s’ ‘Megaways’ slot feature in the Bingo vertical.”
The game is available to other licensed operators looking to expand their portfolio of games either for Bingo, Keno, Lotto/Lottery and soft Casino players. Get in touch if you would like to know more about the games we build.
On Friday night, 25th January 2019, Which Bingo hosted a Live show on the Buzz Bingo website to show case some of their games and Mutuel Play content was right in the thick of it. The livestream was available via the Which Bingo website, Facebook Live, Twitch and Youtube, hosted by Roger.
Roger started the night a little later than planned due a technical issue but was soon up and running and playing some Bingo games on the site. After testing out the Buzz Blast game he moved on to some of the exclusive slots on offer including our very own ‘Lumberjack Cash’ and ‘Juicy Fruity’, both of which are hosted on the GECO Gaming platform. He was a little unlucky with both of those so instead moved over to our Leander hosted game, ‘The Wild Mob’. Roger got off to a slow start but soon started dropping some Sloth icons which awarded some respins. No bonus feature was materialising and Roger was down to around £50 when he upped his stake to £1.50 per bet and it wasn’t long before he triggered the free spins feature.
What followed was a sequence of one of the most exciting free spin features I’ve witnessed live on social media. Roger hit numerous respins, with the Sloth icon doubling in size and ended up with a whopping £186.30 which was 124 times his total bet. Roger and Buzz were dead pleased as it meant by the end of the session he ended up with over £200 which was then paid out to a lucky winner on the Buzz Bingo website.
We’re looking forward to more of these Live streaming events with players enjoying our slot and Bingo content and hopefully some more big wins to shout about.
Mutuel Play has been working behind the scenes on this game for over three years. The game uses a Multiplayer Fixed Odds Bingo format with a large insured jackpot. The draws will take place on a Wednesday and Saturday evening initially and further variants will launch thereafter with more regular game play.
This game is something different and hopefully something that assists operators in widening their games portfolio on the ‘Bingo’ tab as well as being used to convert lottery players to their websites. As the game is fixed odds rather than pari-mutuel the prize table rewards a lot more players in the game. It is a great tool for both acquisition and retention marketing and will be a ‘must have’ for any UK bingo-led operator.
Rhys Owen, CEO of Mutuel Play had this to say: “We’ve been keeping this one underwraps for too long. It will be our flagship product and my hope is to distribute the game not just digitally in the UK but hopefully in retail outlets like Bingo clubs throughout the UK and beyond in the coming years. We have an exciting pipeline of additional variants launching around the Bingo Millions brand this year to cater for different types of players all linking to the same jackpot framework. Additionally, we’re looking to give 10% of game profits to charity so this is another angle for our operators and our way of giving something back to the wider community.”
Rhys Owen and the Mutuel Play team will be attending the ICE gaming show at Excel London between the 5th and 7th of February 2019 and welcome any operators in the UK or abroad who wish to find out more to contact us at the email address below to arrange a meeting:
Wednesday 12th December saw the annual Mutuel Play Christmas shindig and this year the team got treated to a bit of fun at the Team Sport go-karting track in Farnborough followed by a Christmassy, and some not-so-Christmassy meal at the Kingfisher on the Quay.
The first session was a bit of disaster for the Mutuel Play contingent present, possibly with the team finding their feet and learning the ins and the outs of the track. The second session proved to be much faster and exciting with the Mutuel Play guys coming in 3 of the top 4 places.
Best driver and most improved between the sessions was Joseph O’Neill finishing with a lap time of 50.34 seconds, an improvement of 6.3 seconds on his earlier fastest time. Congratulations to Joe who takes the inaugural Mutuel Go Karting Championship, back to the circuit for the rest of us.
There is a short 2K video clip from Kerim’s helmet for those interested.
Friday 2nd November 2018 saw a milestones for Mutuel Play with their first ever showing of a Mutuel game live streamed across Twitch.tv by David Labowsky. David regularly achieves viewing numbers between 500 and 1,000 and just so happened to be streaming a session on Vera and John, where none other than Legend of Daruma is currently on it’s two week exclusive launch period. Luckily, David is always keen to check out new providers and give some critique. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to the free spins feature but he had a couple of decent wins off his €4.00 stake per game play.
Rhys Owen, was on hand to witness the stream and had this to say, “I regularly check out David’s stream so it was a welcome surprise to see that he was on Vera and John when I checked it out on Friday. I pinged him in the chat and asked if he wouldn’t mind checking out our new game and he was kind enough to oblige. He is a very down to earth, chilled streamer and always playing the top games that are out so it was really decent of him to give our game a few spins. He also provided some great feedback on the game design and User Experience which we’ll look to incorporate in future games.”
David Labowsky has a regular show on Twitch and other streaming media sites like youtube, as well as an affiliate website that can be viewed here:https://davidlabowsky.com/
Mutuel Play is pleased to announce that today marks the launch of our 8th slot title in as many months with Vera & John via the Leander LeGa Remote Gaming Server. Legend of Daruma is an Asian themed title utilising the same maths used in The Wild Mob, which has been the number 1 slot title we’ve launched with Buzz Bingo.
Rhys Owen, CEO at Mutuel Play had this to say about the launch, “we chose Vera & John as the exclusive launch partner for this game as we felt the games theme and style closely matched the type of audience they have on their site. We’ll be looking to roll the game out with more Leander operators later this month. The game has some great base features revolving around wilds including a ‘Pop-Up Wild feature’, ‘Fireball Wild feature’ and ‘Respin Riding Wild feature’. In addition, within the free games the player can get stacked ‘Gold Daruma’ respin riding wild symbols that make for a very exciting bonus game. We’re confident this will be a real hit in all territories, especially Asia.”
Mutuel Play has been awarded a Core Service Provider Associate Certificate from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. This will allow Mutuel Play to provide gaming content and services to all AGCC licensed operators.
Rhys Owen, CEO and Founder of Mutuel Play, had this to say, “We’re delighted to have added the CSAC License in addition to our UKGC Remote Gambling licenses that we received in December 2017. We are already working closely with a number of AGCC licensed operators like Jumpman Gaming and Gaming Realms and this allows us to approach and hopefully distribute all manner of games content to further AGCC licensed operators.
Both our partner platforms, GECO Gaming and Leander Games are licensed and hosted from Alderney/Guernsey so the CSAC license was key to distributing games via their platforms. In addition, with our own RGS to supply Multiplayer Bingo, Keno and Lotto games we can now distribute from our AWS Cloud Hosting solution from the UK to all AGCC licensed operators.”

The two games to go live are: Lumberjack Cash, a Canadian Lumberjack themed game with a nudge win feature, Petey wilds, free spins with a random multiplier and Pete’s Big Wheel bonus, where players can get a ‘Repeat’ bonus. The second game to launch is called ‘The Wild Mob’, which is a 25-50 line game, with riding wilds, pop-up wilds, slingshot wilds and a free spins feature where the Sloth respin character is stacked. The theme has three main characters, each with their own in-game feature who are gang of bank robbers.
Rhys Owen, CEO at Mutuel Play had this to say; “whilst we didn’t first hand develop the games into retail, we were instrumental in the games overall concept, design and digital development. This marks good progress towards our ambition of becoming a leader in the provision of Omni-Channel solutions in the soft gaming sector. Live 5 Gaming have done an excellent job and were a joy to work with and have developed a game consistent with what we have developed for online. I’m very confident these games are going to perform well with the Buzz Bingo players. It’s also great to solidify our long standing partnership with the Buzz Group Limited, with these, and other exclusive content, to help with their digital launch and overall player conversion strategy.”

We signed a close partnership deal with Buzz Group Limited, or Gala Leisure Ltd as they were back in May 2017 when the deal was officially signed. I have to say a big well done to the team at Mutuel and the contractors that have helped us out as the games look amazing and a lot of hard work has gone into them. We’re also truly grateful to the teams at Geco Gaming, Leander and Live 5 Gaming who have been really great to work with. They all run extremely professional and well run operations and it’s testament to their businesses that we have been able to roll these games out in plenty of time for the new Buzz Bingo site launch.”
Stevie Shaves, Digital Director at Buzz Group Limited had this to say about the games; “Working in collaboration with Mutuel Play has been great. We’ve produced some amazing, exclusive games for our players which we’re hearing some excellent feedback on. Working with the Mutuel Play team was very enjoyable, they listen and apply good ideas and the customer is always at the forefront of their minds. I can’t wait to see what we do next together.”
