Mutuel Play, in partnership with Live 5 Gaming is pleased to announce the launch of two bespoke exclusive games for Buzz Group Limited that have been released to the Inspired Gaming Group cabinets in over 120 bingo clubs up and down the UK as well as thousands of Electronic Bingo Terminals.
Mutuel Play have developed the digital versions of the game and worked closely with Live 5 Gaming who have developed the retail versions under their UKGC license. The games are available as B3 category games with a maximum stake of £2.00 and a top prize payout of £500.00.
The two games to go live are: Lumberjack Cash, a Canadian Lumberjack themed game with a nudge win feature, Petey wilds, free spins with a random multiplier and Pete’s Big Wheel bonus, where players can get a ‘Repeat’ bonus. The second game to launch is called ‘The Wild Mob’, which is a 25-50 line game, with riding wilds, pop-up wilds, slingshot wilds and a free spins feature where the Sloth respin character is stacked. The theme has three main characters, each with their own in-game feature who are gang of bank robbers.
Rhys Owen, CEO at Mutuel Play had this to say; “whilst we didn’t first hand develop the games into retail, we were instrumental in the games overall concept, design and digital development. This marks good progress towards our ambition of becoming a leader in the provision of Omni-Channel solutions in the soft gaming sector. Live 5 Gaming have done an excellent job and were a joy to work with and have developed a game consistent with what we have developed for online. I’m very confident these games are going to perform well with the Buzz Bingo players. It’s also great to solidify our long standing partnership with the Buzz Group Limited, with these, and other exclusive content, to help with their digital launch and overall player conversion strategy.”
The games can be played either online at the Buzz Bingo website found here. Or pop into your nearest Buzz Bingo club to try them out.
Mutuel Play is proud to announce the launch of 5 of 6 bespoke exclusive slot titles developed for the new Buzz Bingo digital website launched today, Thursday 27th September 2018.
3 of the games, ‘Lumberjack Cash’, ‘Splatter Cake’ and ‘Juicy Fruity’ have been built on the Playtech owned, Geco Gaming Remote Gaming Server, with the other 3 powered by the Leander Games ‘LeGa’ RGS, ‘The Wild Mob’, ‘Read All About It’ and the soon to be released fully branded ‘Buzz Bingo Slot’. Both Lumberjack Cash and The Wild Mob are also available to play in Buzz Bingo clubs up and down the UK, which were converted to B3 titles on the Inspired Gaming Group cabinets and ECM Electronic Bingo Terminals by Live 5 Gaming.
Rhys Owen, Mutuel Play CEO, had these comments; “these games follow quickly on from our first few launches of Cosmic Fusion and The Showman and we’re really pleased with the progress we’re making and are keen to build on the momentum. We signed a close partnership deal with Buzz Group Limited, or Gala Leisure Ltd as they were back in May 2017 when the deal was officially signed. I have to say a big well done to the team at Mutuel and the contractors that have helped us out as the games look amazing and a lot of hard work has gone into them. We’re also truly grateful to the teams at Geco Gaming, Leander and Live 5 Gaming who have been really great to work with. They all run extremely professional and well run operations and it’s testament to their businesses that we have been able to roll these games out in plenty of time for the new Buzz Bingo site launch.”
Stevie Shaves, Digital Director at Buzz Group Limited had this to say about the games; “Working in collaboration with Mutuel Play has been great. We’ve produced some amazing, exclusive games for our players which we’re hearing some excellent feedback on. Working with the Mutuel Play team was very enjoyable, they listen and apply good ideas and the customer is always at the forefront of their minds. I can’t wait to see what we do next together.”
You can check out the games at the new Buzz Bingo website by clicking here. Or visiting your nearest Buzz Bingo Club.
Mutuel Play is proud to announce the second game launch in as many months via the Leander Games LeGa RGS platform. The game is a 5×3 slot game called, ‘The Showman’, piggybacking the success of the major Hollywood Musical movie ‘The Greatest Showman’.
The slot game has already been launched with Slotsmillion and the Whitehat Gaming white label network with more operators looking to launch the game in the coming weeks. Early numbers are promising and we’re very hopeful this will be a real hit with players.
The game itself has a Magical Re-appearing Reels in-game feature that copies reel 1 over to random other reels and a ‘Extra Wild’ feature that can occur randomly in the base game. Players lucky enough to get the Bonus Spins symbol on reels 1, 2 and 3 will trigger the Bonus Spins feature where they can be awarded up to 20 Bonus Spins with a x5 multiplier on all wins. Additional Bonus Spins are awarded for further Bonus Spins symbols landing during the feature game.
The Magician himself is a combination of Dick Dastardly and Stan Smith from American Dad, and he has a brave assistant in the form of a ‘Debbie McGee’ styled character.
Rhys Owen, CEO, of Mutuel Play, had this to say, “It’s great to finally be launching some content and there’s plenty more in the offing. Leander have been a great partner to work with so far, and are extremely thorough in their operation, which is working really well. We’re hoping their network of operators and their players will enjoy what we bring to the table; which we hope is something slightly different than the main stream, in both design, theme and in-game features. Onwards and upwards to the next batch.”
Today marks a second major milestone with the launch of our first slot game called, ‘Cosmic Fusion’, on the Leander Games Remote Gaming Server platform, LeGa. The game has initially gone live with NetBet a key partner of Leander for an initial two week exclusive period. NetBet are running a promotion on the game and it features first on their ‘new’ tab under ‘Casino’.
The game has a high volatility but is only 10-lines and players can stake at the lowest denomination so free spins can be issued at a low cost. The game features include a giant symbols base game feature where giant symbols cover the middle three reels and will always land flush, as the game pays left to right and right to left there’s big chances for a multi-ways pays. In addition, whenever a wild supernova symbol lands on either reel 2, 3 or 4 it will expand and award a respin. Any winning combinations on the first respin will pay at x2, second respin x3 and on the third respin at x5, the additional respins are awarded for getting further wild symbols on reels 2, 3 or 4.
The game is available in over 34 languages and a multitude of currencies. Cosmic Fusion has been certified in all major jurisdictions including the UK, Alderney, Italy, Spain and Denmark.
The 6-8th February 2018 saw this years London ICE exhibition held at ExCel arena, which is the largest Gaming EXPO in the sector. It was a special year for Mutuel Play as we were shortlisted to speak at Pitch ICE.
The team enjoyed their day at the show on Wednesday 7th February, looking at all the latest gaming content and picking up some free goodies. The team even partook in the Microgaming 3D surround photo booth. You can take a look at the video here.
Rhys Owen had this to say about the show, “ICE is a great opportunity to discuss roadmaps and ideas with all the big operators in the sector. The National Bingo Game demo we had developed was well received and hopefully it will lead to some firm commitments from the various bingo platforms in the UK. It was interesting to see new suppliers looking to enter the bingo market so that tells me other companies have realised the growth opportunity in this area. Hopefully with our background, knowledge and contacts we are best placed to reap the rewards.”
We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted with 17 other startup businesses in the sector to present our products and business to a panel of experts.
We submitted our application just before Christmas which included a 2 minute video that Kerim El-Hakim had spent two weeks putting together.
Mutuel will be up against some other new startups in the sector across a wide range of fields including sports betting, cryptocurrency, fantasy sports, messenger betting to name but a few. Click here to view the full list
Rhys Owen, CEO at Mutuel had this to say. “This is an amazing opportunity to showcase our content and business strategy to not only a group of investors but also to prospectus customers. ICE is the largest exhibition focused on the gambling sector and to have the chance to get up on stage in front of hundreds of people is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am so pleased that we have been shortlisted as it shows that what we want to achieve has some potential.”
We will be presenting on Wednesday 7th February at the London ExCel exhibition centre at the Pitch ICE area at approximately 13:20. Anyone is welcome to come along for free to watch.
It’s exhibition season again and the year kicked off this week with the EAG conference in ExCel. The exhibition is slightly less focused on e-Gaming and more on retail but it is a great place to visit providers who focus on the AGC and Bingo retail clubs across the UK.
Mutuel also took the opportunity to have a mini team building event at ExCel with the new ‘Locked in a Room’ game. The team managed to get out of the room with 24 minutes to spare. Next time they will be booked onto the more difficult room. The lady who was working there said that the time achieved was the best they had seen so far this year….

The start of 2018 marked the completion of the final piece of the skills base puzzle Mutuel requires to run it’s operation. Joseph O’Neill has joined Mutuel Play as our DevOps Engineer to support, maintain and develop our hosting and infrastructure.
Joe has spent the last few years working locally to the Mutuel office at Lexis Nexis in a hybrid developer and DevOps role. He has a Batchelor of Science degree in Business Computing and Digital Media that he gained from Galway University.
Rhys Owen had this to say about Joe joining the company, “it has been very difficult to fill the role for many reasons but we are absolutely thrilled to have Joe come on board. There’s a lot to learn and pick up but Joe has all the necessary skills to become a very proficient DevOps Engineer and lead the development of our infrastructure and hosting solution.”
Christmas has well and truly come early for Mutuel Play Ltd as we received confirmation from the UK Gambling Commission that we had passed the necessary due diligence to be awarded with our first set of licenses including a Personal Management Licence for Rhys Owen, a Remote Gambling Software licence and a Remote Bingo Host licence.
Rhys Owen, CEO and Founder of Mutuel Play Ltd had this to say, “It feels like an age since we put all of our application documentation together but looking back there was a lot of hard work that went into it from everyone in the business. This is a great way to end the year, it certainly feels like everything is started to come together in terms of the products, commercial deals and now our licence. It’s a great platform to drive us through 2018 and it’s nice to feel like the hard work is paying off. Onwards and upwards.”
With the UKGC licenses in place this now means Mutuel Play are now able to provide content to any UKGC licensed operator. If you are looking to add great games to your offering, get in touch, email us at [email protected]
Mutuel Play celebrated their Christmas meal together at the Sovereigns pub in Woking, just down from the office today. Everyone went with the Christmassy options of Turkey with all the trimmings, except István, who went with the very festive ‘Sea Bream’ ?. Apart from a few dried out brussel sprouts and some dodgy cracker jokes, everyone had a great time. We even managed to get some darts out, which is something we have sadly missed since moving offices.
The highlight of the afternoon was sticking on the bar mats that had the glittery moustaches on; some people were pulling off the look far too well!
